1. JAVA ROCKIN' LAND 7-9TH AUGUST 2009
i went to a rock festival with my buddies on the 7th and 8th August! We saw Baggabownz, its like a huge rock band in the Netherlands but nobody knows 'em here (typical), haha. The band was great! it reminds me of linkin park and evanescence (did i spelled it correctly?) which was great because i like em. The singer is a girl, and turns out her DAD is INDONESIAN! :woot: hahaha :D so she kinda speaks in Indonesian, and she even turned one of the song into FULL INDONESIAN!! that was great :D and i became a new fan, haha!
After that we watched Melee ! and the show was AWESOME !! they were soooo energetic, and the singer was wearing a white t-shirt that reads "WE ARE NOT AFRAID" AKA the shirt of Indonesian Youth Community that states that we're not afraid of terrorists! :D:D:D
And at the end of their performance there was this fireworks coming out from the back and the sides of the stage!!!!!! it was a great opening day for the festival and an awesome closing for Melee!

We almost watched Vertical Horizon also, but my friends were already tired and tomorrow is another day, soooo we headed back to my friend's house and sleepover.
The next daaay, we had to go to another friend's birthday party! It was on the afternoon, while the festival starts around 7pm so we were like hopping place to place hahaha :D the party was great! it was held in Sushi Tei and we were all treated with FREE ALL YOU CAN EAT SUSHIIII !!!! Life is good ;) After that we went straight to the rock fest and watched Secondhand Serenade! On this 2nd day the place (which was Carnival Beach at Ancol, btw) was jam packed with people! litterally! we were kinda scared that we'd be like stuck in the middle of a mosh pit or somethin :s but thankfully we didnt :D
After that, we went inside a baloon maze and we were probably stuck there for like...half an hour just trying to get out. I was ready to pop that baloon and walk out when it deflated lol. It made me claustrophobic, stupid baloon maze in the middle of a rock festival :s
Oh yeah we also watched White Shoes and the Couples Company (which was totally weird because they're more of a classic blues/jazz band than rock :s but w/e) and Mr. Big !!!! The crowd was HUGE !! it TRIPLED the maximum capacity! Thankfully it was on a beach so people were just like scattering everywhere hahaha, it was a great night indeed :)
But then the night ended with a nightmare. There was this stupid bus and this stupid red car that were blocking the ONLY U-turn to the exit. So we were stuck there until 1-ish and got home at 2.30AM. whew.
2. BALI TRIP 21-28TH JUNE 2009
Well...to tell the truth I also went to Bali with my girlfriends a couple months back, i dunno why i never wrote it down here, but its just that there's so much to tell....so to make it short, we were on a school holiday for 5 weeks so we decided to go to Bali for a week. It was a really short time and CLEARLY not enough but we had such a blast there! We went from the 21-28th of June if I'm not mistaken and we celebrated 2 of my friends' birthday there! we celebrated it in a club called "Ku De Ta" and finished it with a dinner in a restaurant called "Blue Gil" which was on the sea side..and we got the best table on the house, and it was decorated! Plus a double layer heart-shaped birthday cake for the birthday girl ;) LOVE YOU NAILAAAAA !!
